No smoking policy: new obligations.
The new no smoking policy as of February 1st 2007 implies new obligations for the employer. It is explained in the memo that you can download here.

Not satisfying to your legal obligation to deposit your annual accounts may cost you a fine of up to 1 500 €. In the event of a second offence, the fine can go up to 3 000 €.
Maternity leave
Article 30 of law #2007-093 dated March 5th 2007 makes the rules of maternity leave more flexible:
The employee can reduce, with the doctor’s approval, the length of her leave prior to the birth by up to three weeks, the length of her leave after the birth being that much longer. |
